Our mission here is our mission in life - find healing, live authentically, and love one another; and we're centered around one of the things that helps us to do all three - music. We believe there is power and healing in music, especially music rooted in community, and thus our holistic, musical, grassroots group was born.
Dear fellow creative soul,
My name is Sarah Woolson, I am a music therapist, mental health counselor, and therapeutic sound practitioner. I truly am living my professional dream, using music and sound to help people find healing and live their most authentic, expressive lives. I have a background in pediatric healthcare and now work in a variety of settings with kids, teens, adults, and groups of all ages. I believe that music holds great power and can help us to process our experiences, express our emotions, and connect with ourselves and others.
I hope you can find support and connection here. If you're not entirely sure what this community can offer you, please reach out and we can explore together!
With gratitude,
Sarah
Music therapy is a clinical and evidence-based practice in which a trained music therapist uses music intentionally to support individuals in achieving specific therapeutic goals. It involves creating, listening to, and processing music in a structured, therapeutic environment tailored to a person's needs.
Whether working with individuals or groups, music therapy can help address emotional, cognitive, social, and physical goals. It's not about musical talent - it's about using music as a tool to connect, express, and heal.
Benefits of Music Therapy for Mental Health & Wellness:
Reduces symptoms of anxiety and depression
Improves emotional regulation and self-expression
Enhances coping strategies and resilience
Supports personal growth and self-awareness

Sound healing, often offered as sound baths, is a deeply immersive, meditative experience that uses sound and vibration to promote relaxation, balance, and healing. Instruments like singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and voice are used to create soothing soundscapes that help calm the nervous system and bring the mind and body into a state of rest.
Participants are invited to simply lie down and listen - no active participation is needed. The sounds can gently shift brainwaves, helping to release tension, reduce stress, and foster a sense of peace and clarity.
Benefits of Sound Baths for Mental Health & Wellness:
Reduces stress and promotes deep relaxation
Eases physical tension and supports improved sleep
Encourages mindfulness and inner stillness
Can reduce symptoms of burnout, overwhelm, and anxiety
Offers a nonverbal pathway to emotional healing
